Approach

The basis of our program at SHPPP is child centered play. Through play, your child will use their creativity while developing and strengthening their physical, cognitive, social and emotional well-being. Child-directed play allows children to interact and process the world around them. It gives them the opportunity to master new skills, to learn to work within a group, to negotiate, to problem solve, to share, to build confidence and most importantly child directed play is FUN!

As a parent participation preschool, we value working together as a team; be it on the executive, as a committee member, and especially with the teacher as a duty person in the classroom.
